    They are telemarketers, claiming to be raising money for Oxfam. I am unsure whether or not that is true, but they call often. Oxfam is all well and good, but for safety, donate via their website and avoid answering calls from this number, even if you wish to donate to Oxfam. Just in case. Too risky.

    Yes. I get a call everyday. Never answer it. Also call land line within a minute or two. I have now blocked the number on my mobile.

    Had a call twice from this number. Both times got a woman thanking me for donating to Oxfam and then going onto be very pushy about asking for more money - even the second time when I said straight away I didn't want to be called ever again by them. Very aggressive and doesn't reflect well on Oxfam.

    Yes, it is a telemarketing firm. They started calling me the day after I told the Commonwealth Bank I was thinking of getting a home loan with them. They must have forwarded my detials onto 2evolve. Needless to say, I won't be looking for a home oan with the Commonwealth Bank now.

    Consistently have calls from this number which I don't pick up as I don't recognise; they never leave a message; they have called about 6 times in the last few weeks.

    Have had 4 calls from this number. No message left. Can see from this forum that it's definitely spam and I will block from now on.

    As above, phone and landline in short order. Return call says 2evolve. Spammers.

    Ring consistently and never leave a message. Calling the number back you get an automated message saying you have reached 2evolve - it is an unattended number. Their website reveals them to effectively be a telemarketing company.

    I missed the call twice, both times they didn't leave a message. Went to call them back and the voice message said it was the number for 2Evolve, which I think is this company: [link] Seems to be a telemarketing operation.

    Probably can block this number safely.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
