They left an automated voicemail stating the they will be terminating our “internet connection for the upcoming 72 hours. Option 1 to keep internet connection, option 2 to terminate connection”. Obviously a scam.

This is definitely a scam. I knew right from the start. I answered anyway (as I love toying with them) and there was a recorded message saying my eBay account was charged $300+ dollars. (lame) Pressed 1 and got diverted to a call centre which I muted myself. The person went "hello, hello, hello... Is anyone there?" and even kept quiet with me for 10 seconds. How dumb.

Eventually he started swearing as I only caught the last word he uttered (Mother****er) when I put the phone back on my ear haha. I unmuted and said (F your mom) and hung up..

Phishing call about internet service doing illegal activity. Then asks to put information into a browser and on your phone to install software to enable them to login to your system. Do not follow any of their instructions and hang up.

I received an automated call that abruptly hung up without providing any information, which was quite frustrating.

During the call, the person initially spoke in a language that sounded like Arabic. When I informed them that I could only speak English, they quickly switched languages and claimed they were going to disconnect my NBN service due to an unpaid bill. I ended the call at that point.

I am not entirely sure which company was calling, but the call lasted only three seconds before they hung up when I answered. The call showed up as suspected scam on my caller ID, and I didn’t have a chance to say anything.
