    Said they were from Telstra with a technical issue but were not with Telstra so it was obviously some sort of scam.

    Calling from the "Telstra technical department" regarding our internet.

    I don't think so!! Very bad connection, very strong accent.

    I hung up on them.

    They have tried calling several times and takes them several seconds to respond if I answer.

    Dodgy, scam, don't answer.

    Left voicemail in a language other than English from what I could tell. Samsung marked it as scam so I didn't answer.

    This number or similar (02) numbers keeps calling randomly- the one call I did take indicated they had my details in relation to a Bitcoin account, believe it is scammers using random phone numbers.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
