    Just received a phone call from them whom claim to be from Telstra. The person has really heavy Indian accent that I cannot understand. One male and one female insisted that there's some problem with internet hacking. I told the person I was doing what he/she told me to do, they were pissed in the end and asking me to f*k off.

    This number rang. It is the usual hello Mrs xxxx this is some Anglo name from Telstra calling. I then went into his speech as I’ve heard it today 5 times from his scamming friends, and thousands of times from the rest of his scamming friends..... So I went through the usual crap of the CTRL key next to that windows press it see RUN type e for echo etc..... Then I said you know what.... I curse you, I curse your whole family..... He said No, No no no, I cursed again over and over.... He kept repeating No in a less confident manner. Eventually he hung up. I felt satisfied. I’m so lover these low life scum calling. If they put as much energy into a real job or business I’m sure it could be a success.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
