When I called this number back, the person claimed to be calling on behalf of Careflight. This raises concerns about legitimacy.
Had call from this number. Been told story and asked for donation. Had too many similar calls in last 12 months. Would go broke if donate to everybody. And suspect 99% of these type of calls are scams. How to stop it? Simple, Say No to these calls.
I had calls from this number four calls over four days. Twice I have answered and left the phone, next time I’ll say I was going to donate but now your harassing me.
Appears to be a donation scam. Same range of call center numbers asking for various donations to various causes. Researched some of the 'known' causes and found they were not using a call center for donation solicitations. Why can't Telstra or other phone companies actually do something about this garbage. Oh, wait... I know why... Because as long as the phone companies get money from these people, they really don't give a sh*t how their legitimate customers get scammed. Try to tell me different when ALL the evidence points to collusion.
