Called their number back and received a message that the number was not in service. Highly dubious and suspicious. Red flag this number.

Received call from that number this afternoon & when I answered there was silence. Tried calling back & also got "The number was not in service.".

It is a number from a non-listed, non-rented phone line that has been hacked by unscrupulous spammers, trying to sell their wares to unaware citizens.
Most of the time people hang up, but it's the sad poor souls who fall for such calls that is really upsetting.
Be VERY careful about such calls and NEVER give any personal details, no matter how authoritative they may seem.
