    Same deal, lady offering a wealthy lifestyle package for "free" if you let them come & sit down with you (at your house) for an hour. They push how amazing this free pack is & how they'd hate you to miss out on this offer.

    They offer a $20 voucher from coles or bunings to make you agree.

    They ask questions of my home equity, thing that I did not answer and just say I'm not interested. Pretty sure they will call again in a couple of days/weeks.

    Finally answered their call. They are very pushy. Offering a wealthy lifestyle package for "free" if you let them come & sit down with you (at your house) for an hour. They push how amazing this free pack is & how they'd hate you 2 miss out on this offer. They started asking questions about who owns house, household income etc so at this point I became 2 busy to listen.

    Received a phone call from this number. Caller bombarded us with details about being a new business seeking to expand its client base. Spoke about the need to arrange a meeting to talk about mortgages ???, life-matters ???, and offered a gift voucher from Bunnings Warehouse as an incentive to agree. Called their number back and received a message that the number was not in service. Highly dubious and suspicious. Red flag this number.

    It is a number from a non-listed, non-rented phone line that has been hacked by unscrupulous spammers, trying to sell their wares to unaware citizens.

    Most of the time people hang up, but it's the sad poor souls who fall for such calls that is really upsetting.

    Be VERY careful about such calls and NEVER give any personal details, no matter how authoritative they may seem.

    Just missed a call from this number - called at night 7.38pm. I would imagine its one of those services that registers if your number is in service then sells that information on. I never answer unknown numbers and never give it out to businesses so safe bet it's a seeker call.

    I had a missed call from this number. When I called it back I got a not in service message. Based on the other comment from tonight, I would say it is a spam number.

    I rang back and a voicemail said the number was not in service. Nor sure if it is spam.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
