2.19 pm 17 November 2015. Just received call from 0288829710 asking if I had been in a car accident. I replied yes and said I had been killed. They rang off.
This number has been reported on Facebook to Optus for this, some thing I experience this morning.
The number call me (home phone) and I did not recognise it, so I let the answering machine pick it up, no message left.
I then looked up the number on the internet and found many complaints about it, so I turn my mobile on private and rang it back.
The phone has an Optus message to say it is disconnected.
This has happened to others. How can a phone be disconnect yet making prank call?
Scam call from india, telling me I had been in a car accident recently and could get compensation. Haven't been in an accident in more than 10 years. They don't like it when you swear at them, or when you demand to speak to a supervisor.
