Claimed they were from Telstra. Wanted to give me 30% off my mobile bill for the next 6 months. They then asked if I would identify myself by first providing my date of birth. When I refused, and questioned whether they were scanning me, they hung up.

Just now I got a call from this number saying they calling from an online trading platform. The funny thing is, the caller is getting angry when I was reluctant to answer his questions.

Lots of phishing calls these days, unfortunately.

Just got called from this number claiming to be Vodafone marketing department wanting to offer me a 40% discount for the next 6mth..

They asked me for my pin on account (that’s when I got suss as they’ve clearly done their research and knew how long I’d been with them etc) I called Voda back, they have advised NO CALL OUTS are happening with them atm.
