Yes, I to received the phone call from ATO, asking to call back on 02 8880 0298, regarding a very important taxation matter, and not to ignore the call. The message was left on my answering machine, I believe on 19 June).
Received a call from this number last night, saying he's an 'officer' from the ATO; gave a very Anglo name though he sounded Asian. Very aggressive, saying things like I have to call him back the second I get the message. We called the ATO and though they took details they weren't very interested in taking further action, they said I could report it 'if I wanted to'.
Same as others. Very unprofessional (ie: scam) voice on the other end making random threats about nothing specific asking for me or my attorney to contact him as soon as possible otherwise "all he can do is wish me good luck because things will get very bad for me".
Same here received a call from this number, someone purporting to be an "officer" with an indistinct last name threatening that you "don't disregard his call as things will get very bad for you". Asks to call or get your attorney to call immediately!!! Scam for sure!
