(02) 8359 2777 - According to a Google Search "Symbio Networks Pty Ltd (part of the Symbio Group, based in Sydney) has been frequently identified in reports and by regulatory bodies as a network used to facilitate a high volume of scam and spam calls in Australia. The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has formally warned and directed Symbio to comply with rules, noting they failed to adequately block, investigate, or report on scam traffic traversing their network. High Volume of Complaints: Reports and users, such as those mentioned in LinkedIn posts and JustAnswer queries, have flagged Symbio as a source of numerous scam, telemarketing, and spam calls. ACMA Enforcement Actions: The ACMA found that Symbio Networks and Symbio Wholesale breached scam reduction codes by not properly investigating scam calls in 2021/2022 and failing to accurately report blocked scams in 2023. According to Reverseau "The phone number (02) 8359 2777 is a local service number operated by Symbio Networks Pty Ltd, based in Sydney, NSW 1001. As this number falls within the category of local services, calls from it may pertain to various local businesses or service providers." I am not in NSW so there is no reason for anyone to call me about local services. Every call I have ever received from a number connected with Symbio Networks has been, at best, spam so I am blocking this number.

(03) 7075 1969 - Received calls from this number - rings a couple of times and disconnects.
(02) 8365 7900 - Rexel Electrical.
(08) 7092 5601 - Had a similar number call before (same but ended in 04), used Google call screeing and they hung up as soon as they know they are being recorded, they did not leave a message.
