Understanding Telemarketing Calls
Telemarketing calls can often be annoying and intrusive, especially when they employ tactics to seem more genuine. The continuous music after a robotic greeting may simply be designed to frustrate and prolong the call, potentially leading to unnecessary charges if the call is from a premium rate line, as smartphones often provide dial-out rates upon answering.

What Our Users Reviewed
A male caller with a Russian accent contacted me claiming to offer me approximately $640 in Toro coin and asked if I wanted to withdraw it. The call seemed suspicious because although it appeared to come from Sydney, he claimed to be in the UK. I have no recollection of trading with this company, so I politely ended the call.
I received a call today from this number, and upon answering, I heard a recorded message thanking me for calling, followed by continuous music playing with no end.
A message stated that I had responded to an advertisement for additional work, which I suspect is a scam!
This number called but did not say anything when I answered. I have since blocked them, as they called from a different number later.
I have been receiving multiple calls daily from this number, with the last two digits constantly changing. There is a noticeable delay after I answer, and the person on the other end seems to be non-English speaking or not from Australia. I have decided to hang up each time as I suspect it might be a scam.
Multiple calls over three days - no message left. Although I block the number the last two digits keep changing. There is a delay if answered. Scammy as hell.
No message. Same number called 10 mins ago ending in 09. Both are blocked now.
I did not reply and there was no message. Earlier 8859 3005 rang and same story.
