After waiting for about 10 minutes on the call, the person finally mentioned they were calling from Manila on behalf of what I think was called “Central Australia.” However, due to their accent, they might have meant Samsung Australia. I wasn't quite sure because I was just trying to enjoy the conversation.
Although I have never had any dealings with Samsung, the caller had a lot of personal information they wanted to confirm, but the information was incorrect. This clearly seems like a scam.
