I received a call at 9.30am this morning from this number from a girl saying I entered a survey last October and as a result I have won an Android Tablet. I said great, where do I pick it up (knowing there has to be some catch). She said firstly lets confirm your details and the only factual information she had was my name and a huge age range. She then said someone will meet me at my home and discuss ways to pay your loan off quicker - no more than 45 minutes and he will give me the Android. She said just one more question, "do you have more than $150000 equity in your home" to which I responded "close to" and she said unless I can confirm the equity is more than $150.000 then I do not qualify for the Android. She then suggested that she wil put me in the draw for a TV instead. I then told her that this was a scam, that she cannot call people saying they won an Android then tell them they haven't. She denied everything saying she said "if you qualify I said". I told her that was BS and that this was a huge scame. I hung up. DO NOT TAKE THIS CALL. If it was legit, wouldnt they be curious to see if I did have $150.000 equity??? Nothing worse being interrupted at work with scam callers :-(.

I got the same call saying I was eligible for an android tablet, got asked about partner details, work details and such. I booked the appt for the guy to come out and hand over the tablet and talk about tax savings and financial advise.

No one showed up or called, I am now worried that they have my address. I too am on the do not call list, this doesn't seem to help.

Scam for sure and I feel stupid for falling for it.

DO NO TALK TO THEM WHEN THEY CALL, JUST HANG UP OR DON'T EVEN ANSWER.

Everyone report this number to [link] called from (02) 8660 0039 and said she was from Strategic survey's and that I'd filled out an online survey last September 2015 and have won an Android tablet! She asked if I remembered filling out a survey (which, I'd done a few legit ones) and said maybe. I pressured her to explain who exactly Strategic was and who their brand partners were (that I apparently filled the survey out with). She couldn't explain much at all apart from they were a survey company in QLD (...but she's ringing from a NSW number??), so she went on with explaining a bit about the tablet.

She then asked to confirm some details that I filled out on the form. She verified my surname, but then it got iffy;.

Her: "So you've said you and your partner are between 28 and 58".

Me: "Errr yeahhh" (Pfht...28 and 58 is a wider number! And I technically don't have a partner).

Her: "Cool thanks and you said you have a mortgage and around $150.000 worth of equity in the home?).

Me: "Uhm no. Thats wrong. So you're totally are lying to me and I never filled out any survey!".

Her: "Oh... so you don't have a house? You might've owned a house a few years ago!".

Me: "What is this actually for?".

Her: "Its to win a Coles gift voucher.".

Me: "...but you said it was for a tablet! And I actually work for Coles, so that's a little weird that I wouldnt know about it!".

Her: "Ok well thanks for your time and goodbye".

*She hung up in the the middle of me abusing her while she said goodbye*.

I received a call today at 11am saying I had done a survey back in March I don't remember completing one. He said that I missed out on the trip to Fiji but have won an Android tablet and a financial pack to help pay the mortgage off. He then asked how much money we owed on our home and since we hadn't paid off half the loan he said that I wasn't eligible for the tablet. He then suggested that he delivers the tablet because depending on the amount we paid for it he said we can still be eligible. So he is coming to our home at 4pm on Monday..

Scammer!!

Just received a call from "strategic planning" saying very much the same as everyone else.

And Australian guy name Jason (I think) called me at 10am saying I had entered a survey at the begging quarter of this year, that I don't remember doing. Saying I won an Andorid tablet - continued on with can I confirm some of you financial details, I said yes (not telling him anything) he said now you put here you earn $80.000+ combined yearly I said NO, he then said I was not eligible for the andoird tablet and than entred me in another competition for a 3D tv this week end. Wish me a lovely day and hung up.

Phone line had a dodgy connection it took him up to 5 secs to reply when I first answered the phone.

I also received a call from this number saying that, due to completing a survey earlier this year (I have no recollection of doing so), I have won a free android tablet. I got out of the call before giving out any personal details. I recommend doing the same and blocking the number.

I got the same call! Someone called Tia (?) from IIG. They had my mobile, address and name and said I won some draw which I don't remember entering.

Apart from my contact details, they got all the other details wrong, I'm guessing they got my contacts from some database and then just guessed the rest?

Oh no, they're going to send someone to my place next week! Don't know what to do.
