Got a call from this number yesterday and today. Told me they were from windows support team. I am in Australia, but didn't recognise the number. Realised it is a scam, so I played along. The call connection quality was terrible, so I asked for their direct desk number so I could call back. Refused to give it to me. Gave them a brothels phone number, and told them it was my mobile number.
Called me back again really angry asking why did I stand them up. Told them sorry, I didn't recieve the call, you must have dialled wrong, and I wasn't in front of the computer now, so they will have to call me back. They agreed to call me back next day.
Trying to decide what game to play with them next.
They claimed to be from "Windows" and that there was a problem with my computer. I use Ubuntu at home. I have heard that there's a scam going around to try to trick you into saying "yes" so that they can use your voice to authenticate things. I just hung up at that point, so I don't have any more information to share.
I live in USA and got a call from this number. I do know people in Australia. After I said Hello, they hung up.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft stating that my computer has downloaded files while searching the internet - when asking what website they don't answer. Asked multiple times and they read the same speil - then when I ask are you going to answer my question or hang up they choose to hang up. Definitely a SCAM.

Same as the prior comments. I'm in Florida and don't know anyone in Australia. Didn't answer.
Got a call from this number, no voicemail left. I'm in Tennessee and have no contacts in Australia so this seems like a fishing attempt.
Was on my cell phone when they called (I'm in texas) - don't know anybody in australia, so thinking this is either a phishing call or spam. didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
