I received a call from someone claiming to be with Telstra ISP regarding an existing support ticket. When I mentioned that they must have the wrong number, the caller stated the name of the person they were trying to reach, which was not my name but was instead a fake profile I had created on Facebook. I realized at that moment that this was likely a scam, so I told her that the name didn’t belong to me. Immediately after acknowledging that, she hung up the call.
