The caller claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) and said there was a payment made to someone in the USA that required my approval. When I asked if he was from the Sydney or Melbourne branch, he replied that he was from Melbourne and provided the branch address, along with his full name and employee bank number. When I stated that I do not have a CBA bank account, he mumbled something and hung up on me.
