Had a scam text 0n 2 Sep 2025. Something about the account relating to Jessica, which is not my name, and encouraging me to call this number (02) 8550 5651, but in a sneaky way, by making the text look like its about something unrelated, to do with a broker back communication credit. Which in itself prompts you to call to see whats going on & why the name doesn't match your account name. Anyway, it has SCAM written all over it. Funny thing is, we only got the account with Maquarie 1 month ago, so someone must of hacked Maquarie Bank recently to get my associated number. Obviously their security sucks.
Fake caller saying they were from Macquarie Bank re a credit application. We don’t bank with them - SCAMMER!!
