When I answered this call, there was a delayed response. The caller claimed to represent Foxtel and asked for my address and email, which raised my suspicion about their intentions.
Amazon Prime Scam.
I received a voicemail stating that Amazon was charging $99 to my account and instructed me to press 2 if I approved the charge. I have never purchased anything from Amazon, which made this call very suspicious.
A person claiming to be from Telstra insisted they could help improve my internet speed. However, when I asked for my address to verify their claim, they abruptly hung up. They are definitely scammers.
I keep receiving incessant calls from this number, and they leave messages exclusively in Mandarin. Despite blocking the number multiple times, the calls continue to come through from this annoying 8550 number.
