What Our Users Reviewed
I received a second call from this number, with the caller claiming to be from the security department of Visa and Mastercard, stating they were following up on a money transfer. This seems to be a scam.
Scam.
This call appears to be from an Indian call center attempting to sell services related to electricity rates, insurance, or LED lighting. The content was vague and seemed unprofessional, leading me to suspect it is a scam.
Three people in turn were trying to convince me that they were from international fraud agency with my bank. When I pointed out that I could talk directly with my bank they said that, because it was international fraud and because my identity had been stolen, my bank wouldn’t even be able to handle it. They had very strong accents that were very hard to understand but they were very clever in pretending to record my credit card number, saying they had no access to it. Called 3/4 days running blocked the number… had many others similar but I blocked those too. Scammers ++++ crafty.
