Just called my Home Phone with a foreign accent saying he was from Viza and Mastercard Security Services. The only reason I answered the call as I am dealing with a few Banks at the present time and I cannot afford to miss their calls. Caller asked me about two transactions from a person in America and do I know this person as he was doing a check, as they appear on my Statement. I asked him what Bank he worked for, so that I could ascertain if he was legitimate, I had to ask twice, he got aggressive and said 'what don't you understand Mam?' and hung up!!
DO NOT ANSWER. THIS IS A SCAM CALL. The person pretended to be from Telstra wanting your ip address. "She" was a person with a strong accent the sub-continent. As soon as I started to interrogate her she said "oh shit" and hung up.
I answered this call and there was a lot of people speaking at once. I heard my first name mentioned and then hung up. It's obviously a scam and I'll block the number but obviously they'll move onto another number.
