This number is a scam, posting as someone from the “Technical department of Telstra” trying to convince you that your IP address has been compromised. As soon as I told them my address was not public they terminated the call.
A scam caller claiming to be from Telstra contacted me, saying they had noticed my internet was running slow and offered to help. The problem is, I don’t even use Telstra for my internet service. The caller had a Filipino accent with an American tone and I could hear other calls in the background, indicating they were operating from a call center.
Answered this number and the person with an indian voice said they would reduce my Telstra payments by 30%. When I said I was not with Telstra and asked how they could then do that he hung up.
