Male - foreign accent that said they are from the technical department of Telstra. I’m in hospital and the moment I said that - he hung up. I don’t have any services with Telstra so definitely a scam. Something needs to be done about this sh*t.
I received a call from a male with a foreign accent claiming to be from the technical department of Telstra. During the conversation, I mentioned that I was in the hospital, and he suddenly hung up. Since I do not have any services with Telstra, I'm certain this is a scam. It’s frustrating that these incidents continue to happen, and I believe action needs to be taken against this issue.
Don’t answer this nos likely scammers.
Female with very heavy Indian accent. Connection was so bad on her end and I kept telling her I couldn't understand a single word she was saying. She continued with her spiel despite me repeatedly saying how bad her connection was and that I couldn't understand her. After multiple attempts I just hung up.
Call came in immediately after I added a new credit card to Amazon and they were verifying it with my bank. Seemed like a major coincidence and a very dodgy one at that.
Got a called from this number today 14/02/24. A person with very thick Indian accent offering some free financial advice and asked me to provide my personal details for them to transfer me to another call. This is some scam syndicate so be careful and never provide personal info. Told them they were being annoying and hung up on them.
