I received a call from this number, but the caller hung up as soon as I answered. It seems suspicious and feels like it could be a scammer operating with a sense of guilt. I've decided to block this number to prevent future calls.
I was contacted by a woman named Emily Bell, who claimed to be from the Australian Cyber Security Centre in Canberra. She informed me that my information had been hacked and that someone in the US was using my personal details to create accounts in my name.

I received a call from what appeared to be scammers representing Visa and Mastercard. They instantly hung up when I mentioned that these are separate companies and questioned their legitimacy.

The caller began by saying, “Hello valued customer.” At that point, I decided not to engage, hung up, and subsequently blocked and deleted the number.
A woman with an Indian accent, claiming to be from Amazon, contacted me saying there was an order for an iPhone, and she wanted to send me a verification link for approval. Given that my account was previously hacked and items were purchased without my consent, I immediately changed my password and removed any payment information.
Received 2 calls from this number today and 1 call from 02 8529 5635, all 40 minutes apart, with the first one being at 5:40 am for me!! I answered the 3rd call and it was some with an Indian voice, advising me that with my current Vodafone service, I’m eligible to get 40% off my next bill. As soon as I said I’m not with Vodafone, he hung up immediately.
