Claimed to be calling from Telstra. Told us to open safari and address a faulty IP number. They knew name and address, and were persistent, even when they were told an acct wasn’t in the name cited.

Thí is a cam call.
Got a phone call just a couple of minutes ago from 02 8529 5637 before I googled online to see if anyone reported and sure enough it was here. I do not answer numbers that I do not know, as my mobile was pre paid and used for jobsearch, though now I am retired. So I blocked this number... Most probably they will just get another extension like they usually do. Scam calls are a pain in the neck...
Lol... Dude with Indian accent calling himself "Eddie Parker" rings, claiming to be from Commonwealth Bank Secure Server. He says there has been a $499 charge from overseas which looks suspicious. I tell him I don't have a Commonwealth Bank account. He counters this by saying it was a charge from my ANZ account, but all overseas transactions go through Commonwealth Bank Secure Server. I ask him what the name of the ANZ account is, he gives some mumbo-jumbo about Privacy. I ask for his name (Eddie Parker) and a number to ring him on - and then he hangs up.
SCAM.
Probably a scam, same first 4 digits as other scam numbers I've had calls from, when I tried to call it back it doesn't work.
