Obvious scam is obvious.
I received a phone call from this number today, saying they are from ANZ bank and to push extensions if I have been spending or not spending an amount. I hung up the phone call and have decided to discuss this directly with the bank.
I tried to call it back and a message straight away was, "OPTUS Advices you the "MOBILE" you tried to dial has been disconnected.
However, it isn't a Mobile number, so I have no clue how that happened, but I tried to copy and paste it too and same message tried 3 times, so nothing, and not trying again.
Today, this number left a voice message claiming that "your phone has been hacked." The voicemail then continued speaking in Chinese for a while. I frequently receive similar calls, and when I tried to call back, Telstra informed me that the "number is not in use." I'm frustrated that Telstra doesn't block these nonexistent numbers to prevent scammers from using them.
