unsolicited Vodafone scam voicemail on 26 Dec 2023 at 18:05, phone is new with unknown number not given to anyone, went to voicemail with no message, blocked
This is a very sophisticated scammer! They called to offer me a 40% discount on my Vodafone account for 12 months, was so taken back at how much information they already had that they read back to me! They also provided me with a text message that looked identical to what Vodafone will send through. This scammer was extremely sophisticated as I did not provide them with my personal details except my account PIN number. I immediately called Vodafone afterwards and changed my PIN number and the Vodafone guy confirmed that they will not ever call to offer customers a discount on their account in this way.
