I answered the call from this number today and he introduced himself as someone from Comm Bank. He asked if I made a recent transaction of $$$ and I said no and then I asked him where he was calling from, he said Melbourne and I asked for his bank branch number and he gave me a 4 digit number which was definitely wrong and I said, Ha, you’re a scammer please try again! He had the nerve to ask me” Do you know who you are talking to?” I said “Yeah a scammer.” He hung up before I did! Haha.

Appears to be an automated call. I have not answered it as it is an unknown number, however ave had similar calls recently, where no message is left. There is a spate of scam messages, texts and calls coming spoofed from +612 numbers with the 8527 prefix, that it seems this is also part of an robotic-spoof.

An automated voice call claimed to be from Visa, warning me about two pending transactions: one for $300 and another for $1,000. The message instructed me to press '1' if I did not authorize these transactions.
