Scam call pretending to be from Telstra. Man on the call pretending to have some urgent issue with my internet service.
I was hesitant to answer this call, but I did. It was unclear if it was an automated robocall or a real person since there was silence until I greeted them. Then it started to say, "This is a confirmation call for..." and that’s when I decided to hang up. I'm blocking this number as it's another scam attempt.
Another scammer. Why are Tecos allowing this to happen?? At least four calls per day. Sick to death of it. Now l don't bother answering the phone, let it ring out and Google the number.

Spam call. Claiming to be from the visa department. Automated message.
Spam number.
I play them along and give them false information. I waste their time. Then when it kicks in that I’m playing them they either hang up or get upset with me on the phone. When they get upset with me I then apologise that I got the information wrong then stall them saying I’m hunting the information. Then I give them more false information. Some then get so angry they start abusing me by getting very mad…
Keep calling me I did not answer as I goolged this is scam or reverse call.
Received a missed call text from this number almost immediately after also receiving multiple calls from unknown mobile numbers. Part of a spam call army.
This number called saying that my internet banking had been hacked from an overseas IP address and that I needed to re download the app so they can add security for me. When I said I would just go to the branch they told me that would not help as they can't see their details. - Scam number.
Robo Call suggested we had made oversea credit card purchases and to press 1 or 2 numbers to cancel or change details... These people will never give up scamming Australians so beware and just hang up! They will never go away once they have your number. They are the scum of the earth!
SPAM don't answer.
This number called but did not leave a message. Given that the call was received shortly after another call from a similar number that also didn't leave a message, I am starting to believe it is part of a scam.
I noticed my phone showed a "missed call" notification from this number. Upon checking, I found it flagged as a scam caller, which raised my concerns.
This is yet another scammer. I'm really tired of receiving these calls!
Answered, they hung up.
I received a scam voicemail stating that $299 would be deducted from my account unless I called back to cancel. This message clearly raises red flags for a scam.
Just hung up from these clowns... Claiming he is from the Telstra technical dept... I think, couldn't understand cos of his accent.
Let him waffle on for a couple of minutes then told him I haven't been with Telstra for 35 yrs... And NOW I've got a problem??
He was upset that I was shouting at him!!
Gave him another serving of my shouting, told him where he and his buddies from Telstra can go and hung up!! Next up I won't be so quick in answering my home phone before I analyse the number calling me!!
These vile sub humans need to stop! I receive these calls 4x times a day! This number is absolutely spam! Do not answer!!
This call appeared to be a spam attempt, as they asked for remote access to my computer.
The call was from "Telstra Technical department" or so they said but in reality it is definitely the remote login scam. They call to say that your line is dropping out or is slow and that someone has infiltrated your system, they appeared to have covered a lot of bases here and of course we all have problems with slow internet and drop outs from the National Broadband Network from time to time. On to the event viewer to show you the (fake) problem and the get you to download "team viewer", which you install and give them the key and your goose is cooked.
Scam number. Claimed to be calling from Amazon to confirm an Apple iPhone I had apparently bought at 6:30 am today. Hung up immediately.
Just received a call from this number. Did not answer. No message left.
Just received call and left voice message, asking to call back to cancel the order before they charge my card.
Its SPAM for sure.
Scam scam scam!
Comes up on phone and searches as scam ignored and blocked.
Inbound call from 0285266359 (most likely spoofed - so don't hate on the line owner). Caller's pretend name was Michael and he was pretending to be from Telstra. He wanted to save my internet connection from 'Hackers'. Michael sounded tired and completely disinterested in life. Michael hung up when I didn't sound like a confused 70 year old he could exploit. If this number appears and you don't already know the owner - feel free to ignore the call confidently.
I received a call from someone named Stacy who was attempting to scam me. I strongly recommend avoiding any interaction with this number entirely.
I received a call from this number simultaneously with another number, 0485 883 017. This has been happening frequently, where multiple spam calls come in at once. I believe this mobile number is associated with spam calls.
Scam, do not pick up.
