"Tim" called about "your Internet connection". Told him I didn't have one and he hung up immediately. Strong Indian accent.
A man called me claiming to represent the NBN Security Branch. He stated that my internet connection was slowing down and that he was calling to assist with an investigation. When I declined his help, he immediately hung up the phone.
Caller claimed to be from Telstra with some fairy tale about line quality.
Scam call saying they’re from Visa fraud department/similar.
Automatted call, Claims my gmail account has been compromised. Asks me to press 1 for assistance.
It's a scam.
Inbound call from 0285266359 (most likely spoofed - so don't hate on the line owner). Caller's pretend name was Michael and he was pretending to be from Telstra. He wanted to save my internet connection from 'Hackers'. Michael sounded tired and completely disinterested in life. Michael hung up when I didn't sound like a confused 70 year old he could exploit. If this number appears and you don't already know the owner - feel free to ignore the call confidently.

When Michael calls me again tomorrow from a different number, I'm going to offer him a real job so his parents can finally be proud of him again.

During my conversation with them, I asked the caller to identify themselves, but they were unable to provide my account number. They mentioned some other identifier that sounded suspicious, so I hung up. Interestingly, I believe they called me from another number, (02) 8526 6359, yesterday.
The caller identified themselves as representing Visa and MasterCard services.
I received a message stating that I was being charged over $700 via PayPal, with instructions to press 1 to cancel the transaction or 2 to approve it.
I have received yet another scam call claiming to be from the NBN about my internet service. They likely wanted to obtain remote access to my computer.
