I received two calls from this number 02 8488 4946, one was yesterday (Friday) at 3:58 pm and the other was this morning (Saturday) at 10:27 am claiming they’re from “credit Line Fraud Department” claiming this was not a marketing call and needed an urgent follow up of my creditline account safety. It was an automated voice message and the same message played when I called them back yesterday and today. The number works but nobody picked up and there were prompts so I was a bit weary and hung up.
It’s a Weekend today so not sure if this is legit.
Sounded like a scam but the number is going through. I called back because I’d just completed a transaction with my creditline account so thought it could be legit. Or else how would they know??
I’m confused but I would trust that they would write me an email or leave a human voice mail if this was true.
