    Tried calling the number back and it was disconnected (minutes after they called). Didn't pick up and didn't leave a message. Based on above I don't have anything to do with ANZ - definitely a scam.

    This number has been calling Friday and Saturday - all different times including out of business hours. Once went into a message back and no massage was left. When called back an AI informed me that the number has been disconnected. Would not trust this number.

    Starts with ‘this is an important message for (account holder name), please press any number to continue’. Claim to be from ANZ. Confirmed with ANZ that this is NOT their number. Spam - HANG UP on them.

    Scam saying they're from ANZ, a robot call, and they are relentless. Calling every 2-hours or so. Have blocked but unfortunately this still allows the voicemail to capture it so am continually deleting multiple new messages from them a day.

    NOT A SCAM. This is the legitimate number for ANZ credit cards, it's just a god awful robot caller to tell you your card is past due, it even tells you your name and quotes the last 4 digits of your card. It's legit, just stupid and doesn't leave a message so just crank calls you 50 times a day.

    Ring 4 times a day and don't leave a message. I don't answer the phone suspicious of spam.

    I think it is ANZ but it asks you for details like a scammer would. ANZs practice, in these scammer times, are far from best practice. ANZ do not send reminders befiore your payment is due, unlike AMEX which sends out a reminder 1 week before. ANZ is devoid of customer focus.

    Robot voice call, getting it atleast 5 times a day. If it really were ANZ then they should leave a voicemail and/or email you should there be any problem. So doubt this is ANZ.

    SCAM - call appeared as caller id to come from ANZ bank. Robotic voice said I was in arrears of $35 (don't have an ANZ bank account) and then started to ask for personal information.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
