Parents recieved a voicemail from this number today advising of tax avoidance. Strong African accent. Says he's from the ato. Name was Jason O'Connor. This is Totally a scam!!! My sister works at the Ato and has reported it to forensics.
Crank call about tax avoidance blah blah. Jason Connor? Hmmmmmmm.
Received call on landline today 25/8 from Jason Ato for tax evasion also warrant issued policewill be calling around yeah much the same as previous comments.

My parents got a call from this number this morning. Jason left a phone message saying they owed the ATO money and a warrant has been issued for their arrest....lol. I am trying to call Jason back on this number but no answer. I guess its a diversion number and that the caller may be from overseas (strong african accent). Panicked my parents but they are ok now. Stupid scam.
We recieved an automated call today advising that a lawsuit has been filed against us for non payment of taxes. The number to call back was 02 8417 3033 to arrange for payment to stop progression of this matter. We do not have any outstanding taxes.
Same thing Arrest warrant police going to come an arrest me tomorrow, for Tax evasion. Commenced two weeks ago, deleted it same again Rang again stating it was Jason O'Connor from the ATO. They also quoted 02 61985643.
As mentioned by someone earlier. Answering machine message about a warrant for my arrest regarding tax. I've reported it to the taxation office who has said that they will have the appropriate authorities investigate.
