Called 83952107 back on a land line, recorded message advising that operators were busy & to hold on but I hung up.
Also added my number to Do Not Call Register.
For the last three days I have had calls from this number or similar with Chinese accent at about 6.30 pm saying he is from Hvac and that my neighbour called Rob informed him. I stated we don't have a neighbour with that name, he even had the hide to say "don't lie" so if you get these calls "f*k off" is what they deserve. Definitely suspicious.
Claiming they are from HVAC Australia and offering AC services in my area. When googled the company whilst on the phone HVAC Australia is a legit business in Queensland that doens't look like they are expanding into Syd. When requesting credentials for ARC (Air Con & Refrigerant Licence details) they become aggressive and defensive saying I was being dodgy and was unwilling to disclose until I had agreed to a service. Anyone involved in this area of trade would be more than willing to disclose their accreditation to confirm their legitimacy. DO NOT ANSWER!
