Just got a call from an indian “Allan Wilson”
Said he was from AAPT & my Optus Internet had been hacked.
I could barely understand him, but from what I could gather, he called me by a name that wasn’t me. He said my IP address was “hacked” and wanted me to put my phone on speaker to open my “Safari” app.
I told him my phone did not have a speaker function and had “no clue what you mean by a safari” and I didn’t give anyone my address (I pretended to be a really old lady with a rotary phone)
I could tell he was getting frustrated with me and started to raise his voice.
I told him I could not speak to someone with such bad manners, and hung up on him (and blocked the number)
