I encountered a suspicious call from a woman with a South Asian accent who claimed to be from Telstra. She said that my IP address had been switched from private to public, making me vulnerable to scams. When I asked her to provide her name and proof of her affiliation with Telstra, she abruptly hung up.
Left a message telling me that my Rex flight has been cancelled. Amusing since I don’t fly Rex.
Answered call from someone claiming to be from Visa security centre saying that someone used my credit card to make a purchase and wanted more info. Sounded like scam so let them know I don't have a cc and they hung up.
Answered the call, could hear Indian speakers in the background, sounded like a call scam call centre, no one bothered to try and even talk to me when I answered.
