What Our Users Reviewed
Scam. Busy signal when I rang back. Typical one way call with these numbers.
I am frustrated that our telecommunications regulator is allowing these fraudulent calls to persist. How many reports do they need to receive before they take action?
I received a call from someone claiming my NBN connection was compromised. They provided a CLSid that I later found listed on Google. They offered to assist me "technically," but the conversation raised my suspicions, so I ended the call as it seemed like a scam.
This call was clearly a scam because they didn't leave a voicemail on my answering machine. It was the third call I received today, each one coming from a different number.
The call disconnected as soon as I answered. When I tried to call the number back, I found that it is disconnected.
My phone identified this number as potentially fraudulent. I advise people not to answer calls from this number.
Received the call but Missed it. Later in the day called it using return call function on phone. Recorded message told me to 'check the number I have dialed'. Assumed a telemarketing company, scam, or other type of call related to suspicious activity and equally suspicious and mischievous person or persons.

Said they were from National Broadband Network and that there's been suspicious activity on my network, overseas people using my connection. I asked if I could call back and they said "just call on the number that appears on the screen" and didn't actually say the number. I don't think they know it.
Scam call saying they were going to 'renew' my Amazon prime subscription, so press one if I wanted to speak to them. I hanged up! Thieves!
I received a recorded message that claimed to be from Amazon, stating that my account would be charged $99 unless I pressed 1 to cancel the subscription. I'm curious what happens if someone actually presses 1, but I would be cautious.
I received two calls from this number, but there was no voicemail left. Upon calling back, I discovered that the number was disconnected. Clearly a scam tactic.
Automatically voice message told me something to do but I thought scam from broadcast company.
Received an automated scam call from an unknown number (messed with it as I usually do by typing random numbers into phone in then man talks and he hangs up and this number rings me a second later with same mans voice then hangs up immediately? Likely scam (though they may just be spoofing numbers)
Same old credit card scammers....sighs.
Claimed they were from NAB and I have a fraudulent transfer from John Smith... Then proceeded with usual scamming questions (asking for my details etc)
