Call that hung up when I said my name. Was unusual, called it back, not connected. Very odd, and I suspected a scam or I wouldnt have posted this. Mid Feb '15 to a Sydney number.
We have had 2 phone calls from this number and the first time we understood it to be related to a car accident, which we had not been involved in, and we hung up. We received a phone call yesterday and we put this number into our computer only to find other people had received the same call, relating to the same scam.
We are glad this is on the net as a scam from some scumbag trying to probably extort money.

I've had a few calls from this number. Each time someone with an Indian accent asks me if I or anyone at this number has had a "minor car accident" in the last two years. It's so obviously a scam phone call that I usually just say "Nobody at this number has EVER had a car accident, you're a scammer, please do not call me again". Then if he's still on the line I just hang up... But most often as soon as I get to the word "scammer" he hangs up :).
This number is a scam, they claim to know about a car accident you had in the past 3 years and want money to repair the damage.
