I later logged into my legit Origin account and the changes had been made so it really was Origin.
Had 2 missed calls from this number on Thurs 18/11 and Fri 19/11/22. I Rang back, it was Origin wanting to renegotiate my payment plan. They actually reduced the payments as usage had been lower.
The operator sounded clear and 'local' with an Aussie voice.
I answered the call, but there was no response from the caller. I waited approximately 3 seconds before I hung up. I suspect this was a spam call. It may be related to Origin Energy, as another user mentioned they were trying to reach them. The delay followed by no response makes me think this call likely came from an overseas call center, which is frustrating.
