I want to clarify that this call was genuinely from the NDIA regarding NDIS plans. It is not a scam, despite some reports suggesting otherwise.

Appears to be Sydney number - on Sydney time, but 1000 km away in a different state. Rang at 6 minutes to 5:00 pm. Did not answer as did not know this number. On voice message - said from NDIA - did not use the terms to explain whatever this stands for, and asking for bank details - with some sort of strong accent, difficult to understand recording (not Australian voice). Other reviews mention scammer, so have blocked number. NDIS is associated with disability, that I no longer have.

I keep receiving continuous calls from this number, which is very annoying.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from NDIS regarding an issue that only legitimate contacts would be aware of. This raises my suspicion that it could be a scam.

This is a scam. They told me they are Australian Governemnt - Calling after 5pm on 24 december... Using incorrect first name, correct last name.

If they say they are Government or anything to do wit Disability then I would do as I am - Block them and report them.

Best.

On the 06/12/18. I got a call from this number 0283314419. I called by Who asked for my ref number of the letter I got from NIDS. His name is Asher, and today another guy called name Colin wanted to help process my son case. Wanted get the Centrelink customer number. I offer my wife one as I don't have one. But they refused I need my wife approval. So mmmm.. Is this a scam or really from NIDS. Any suggestion or similar experienced?
