According to these reports, the callers purport to represent a company known as Manly Travel and employ aggressive sales tactics to pressure recipients into making purchases they regret later.

Users have raised red flags suggesting that this is not a legitimate operation. A notable report highlighted the suspicious nature of the company, with claims of over 20 years of experience contradicted by a domain registration that only took place on 13 March 2024. Furthermore, it was discovered that their provided Australian Business Number (ABN) does not align with this timeline, indicating that this company's legitimacy is highly questionable at best.

Many individuals who reported encounters with this number described a similar pattern of behaviour during the calls. The sales representatives often highlight special offers—like six nights of hotel accommodation for just $349—and fretfully mention time-sensitive deals. This classic tactic is frequently indicative of scam operations aiming to induce fear of missing out to elicit hasty decisions from unsuspecting victims.

Several users recounted that once they attempted to research the offered packages, they were confronted with a fabricated façade of legitimacy—complete with a professional yet deceitful website. Some went so far as to discover that positive reviews about this service only appeared after the suspicious domain registration date, adding another layer of doubt.

If you receive a call from 02 8320 0507 / 0283200507, it is strongly advised to refrain from engaging with the caller. Instead, consider these actionable steps to safeguard yourself:

  • Do not share any personal information, such as your address or financial details.

  • Confirm any promotional offers mentioned by searching online or through reputable sources.
  • Consider registering your number with the Do Not Call Register to minimize unsolicited calls.
  • If you suspect fraudulent activities, report the incident to consumer protection agencies like the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

In conclusion, 02 8320 0507 / 0283200507 has surfaced as a number linked to potential deceptive practices posed as travel marketing. Armed with this knowledge, you can better protect yourself and your loved ones from falling victim to scams of this nature.

Fell into their scam. Paid $1997 for 3 vacation packages seemed legit at first asking me to download their website to check the motels affiliated with them and their vouchers were received as promised but no return address. I am dealing with my bank now.

This seems to be part of the same scam as Eastcoast Travel, which falsely promises services but delivers nothing. I have been waiting almost a month for an $8000 refund, and they took my money for tours that were never provided, leaving me to deal with unpaid hotel bills while abroad. This is a clear scam.

I received multiple calls from someone claiming to be a manager at Manly Travel. It was clearly a scam as they kept asking for more personal details. I advise against providing any true information to them. It’s tempting to play along with these scammers for fun, but please be cautious.

I received an unsolicited call that was handed off to another representative who was aggressively trying to make a sale. They do not take "no" for an answer, which is very frustrating.

Scam calling, claiming to offer $349 accommodation tokens. Called themselves manly travel services. Have even gone to the trouble of having a webpage which they direct you to.

AVOID.

SCAM Alert. Manly Travels cold call and try to get you to purchase a package starting from 6 nights hotel accommodation for $349. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. They even try to legitimize it by asking you to enter a company number into an ABN search which shows the business was registered over 20 years ago. If you look a bit further the company was since cancelled. The website domain was registered on 13th March 2024 and has a trust index of 3.5 out of 100. Don't be fooled.

This number is associated with a scam operation. They are likely to deceive you and take your money. A way to verify their legitimacy is to say you'll call them back using the same number they called you from—chances are, you won't be able to get through. Be cautious and do not engage with these scammers.

Beware of this potential scam! The caller claims to represent a well-established company with 20 years of experience; however, a domain search reveals that their website was only registered recently on March 13, 2024. Additionally, their provided ABN number does not appear to be associated with the domain registrar. They pressure you into making a purchase by stating the sale is only valid for that day. All the online reviews for this company have been posted after March 13, raising further suspicions about their legitimacy. This is likely a scam.

I would like to share my positive experience. The service was very professional during my stay. We enjoyed a spacious room with a queen-size bed and an adequately sized bathroom with blockout blinds. One evening, we had dinner at the Street Bar, where we had a delightful meal and wine, along with friendly service.
