They said we had a tax avoidance. Payment in iTunes card.
I just received a voice message saying I had been reported for tax avoidance and they would issue a warrant for my arrest if I didn't call back. The name being James Applebee. As I know I have not, I agree total scam.
I have had the same call more than once. Totally a scam. I haven't listened to the whole call, I threaten to report the call hang up when I know what it is.
Just missed a call from that number so I called back and asked who they were - Legal Dept of ATO - and he disconnected me when I questioned him further.
Message left on my answer machine similar to previous comments. I've reported number and message to ATO though their scam reporting number. Message deleted and I won't be returning their call or answering further calls from the number.
