Went to ANZ, showed text, asked if Head Office issued anything recently or any scam warnings - the staff did not hear of anything. They recommended calling a verified ANZ number and cancelling Voice ID completely. Asked what access a scammer could do with voice ID; they said it's limited (won't be able to drain funds etc).
Interesting, my message from the same number was from NAB.
I say scam.

Is it legit? I didn't do this voice update.
The caller attempted to convince me that NAB has Westpac as a subsidiary bank, which sounded suspicious and deceptive.
