Classification of the Number

Analysis of User Reports
The transformation of a simple marketing call into a deceptive scam can stem from certain tactics. For instance, one user reported that the scammer identified herself with an Indian accent, attempting to establish a rapport by fabricating a legitimate offer. However, the real intent was to extract personal details, specifically asking for the victim's access code. This raises significant red flags.
Additionally, the automated response when calling back suggests a systematic method of operation that scammers use to create an illusion of legitimacy. When users were connected to a live person, the hasty disconnection further indicates an unwillingness to engage or provide genuine service.

What Our Users Reviewed
I received a call from this number yesterday, the scammer pretended she was from Vodafone and offered a 40% discount on the next 3 months mobile phone bills. She asked for the 4 digits of the access code, and told me the one given was incorrect. Then she asked me to call 1555 to reset the code so she was able to send an activation code to active the offer.
I rang Vodafone and they confirmed this was a scam as Vodafone never asks for your access code or personal information over the phone.
I did not answer a call from this number, which had an Indian female accent trying to greet me. When I called back, the line had no caller ID and an automated voice said, "we will take your call." Then, someone answered but hung up immediately without identifying themselves, so I suspect this might be spam.
I called the number back, and the response was an automated message stating, "Welcome. We will take your call in a while," before the call disconnected.
