Despite some of the above saying we should rest at ease (its them I believe). its a con. Block there number or they will keep calling.
My experience was very similar to many other comments. Random call from a man with an English accent and very casual attitude. Asking about a car accident within the last 12 months (claiming my name had been flagged by a 'National Database' - oh really?). I explained I was driving and so call back in 10mins as I have no idea who I was speaking with etc.
Surprise, surprise - he hung up!
Another surprise, surprise - I called back and nobody picked up!
I also received a call from this number saying the same thing that my name had come up on there data base and that I had an accident in my car on the road in the past 12 months I was hesitant at first and I also hung up. They called back the following week and I went threw a bit more detail as I had actually had an accident 8 months ago that was not my fault. In the end they actually managed to get me money to get my vehicle repaired and also compensation for minor discomforts I was suffering with they was very professional in how they handled my case and keep in contact with me and kept me updated threw the different stages of my claim. I would recommened to friends and family so don't worry this is not a scam number. I just wanted to leave this comment to put your minds at ease if you recive this call yourselfs.
Very good service did ring me out of the blue and I got told I am actually entitled to a minor discomfort payment from a accident that I was involved in 8 months and got myself back $32.000 over the moon with this service fast and efficient just thought I'd leave a comment to let people know that they are a legitimate company providing help.
I received a call from this number today. The man called me by name & said it was First Assist calling about a traffic accident my car was involved in this year. I hung up on him!
Sure enough got the same spiel by a British sounding man telling me my car had been in an accident in the last year. I asked who reported this and the caller hung up. Tried calling back the number no ring through.

OPut of the blue, I received a call from this number stating that they were First Response Legal Entitlement a/agency. My name came up on a national database. He wanted to know if I or anyone in my family had been involved in a motor vehicle accident in the past 12 months. When I said I was googling the name of his company to see if they were a real entity - he had the hide to say that I was wasting his time... And then hung up.
March 6.2017 - received a call from this number, like most others commenting here, they told me my name has come up in a national database and tried to suggest I had been involved in car accident in the last 12 months which is totally false an made up. I hung up and blocked the number in my phone as I suggest anyone receiving a call from this number should do.
Got a call from this number and asked if I had been in an accident in the last 12 months then he went into further questions if anyone was injured etc they said they were calling from a legal office and they could help me with additional benefits I am owed from my car accident.
After the second question I told them it was sorted and he proceed with the questions again. I hung up. Scammers and time wasters.
Just received a call from this number they asked me about an accident if I was involved in with the last 12 months, when I said no it had been longer he asked if I was a fault I said no then he passed me on to his colleague who asked me if I was injured and I said no then he said ok he would look into it further and call me back. Seems like scammers.

Just received a phone call from a man with European accent saying that there database shows I was involved in a car accident within this year. I have never been in a car accident in my life, when about to ask him what company he works for he hung up in a second. ****Scam Bigtime****.
Some sort of scam happening from this number. Just had a call with a totally fictitious line about my car being in an accident. No accident and they hung up the minute I said I was going to call the police.
