I got scammed by (02) 8310 5872 and they created a new Vodaphone account & ordered an iPhone 13 Pro Max 512 GB. I went to the local Vodaphone & they confirmed call was not from them… I got the phone delivered luckily to my house but scammers been callling me to ‘return’ it to them!!!! I reported this to the police as well. Beware!!!
Just got called today by this number asking for a pin and offering a 50% discount off my Vodafone bills for the next 6 months. Clearly a scam when she couldn't answer basic questions about my first and last name properly!
Saying is from Telstra offering me half price discount on my phone account for the lats 6 months due to COVID. I didn't fall for it. Very strong accent.
Definitely a scam. Called me saying she was from Telstra offering a discount on my plan, I advised I was with Optus and hung up. She then rang back about 1 hour later saying she was from Optus offering the same deal.
Absolutely a scam, claimed to be from Optus and wanted all my personal details to give me a discount to my existing plan. But I don't have any plan with Optus. Call them a "benchod" to get the best reactions.
Offering some Optus plan, she had my existed plan information, but still I felt like it’s a scam, so not sure.
