    I get calls from this number and they do not leave a message. I have not given my landline number out as I only have it because I got the Internet connected. Clearly a spam caller.

    We have an unlisted number, they call daily, different times then hang up when you answer. You call the number and no one answers, so annoying, seems the do not call register doesn't help in this situation.

    Rings and hangs up. I assume they want me to call them back for some spam / scam.

    Has called my landline two days in a row then hangs up when answered, very annoying as I'm a shift worker and they've woken me up twice now. Friends and colleagues know not to call and all have a copy of my roster.

    Calls on a regular basis, different times of the day. I just don't answer. If I want a service, I will call you.

    Calls my landline then hangs up when I answer. I receive this call a couple of times a week - very frustrating.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
