    0282935712.

    Do not answer this number. They leave no intelligent message and they call several times a week.

    Today is 12th March,2024.

    All attempts to stop this call has failed.

    Not even TELSTRA could help, even though they supply the number.

    Hope this helps a few people.

    My phone told me it was Samsung Electronics Australia but undoubtedly a sales pitch. Didn't leave a message - want to talk to me? Leave a message guys - I only answer calls I know and will get back to messages in my time - not yours!

    Caller left an inaudible voicemail:- low volume, also it sounded like it might have been a recording of an asian lady speaking another language. Had this happen twice recently from two unknown numbers.

    He said it was Loyality program.

    Went through the steps didn't ask for any personal info just an email, gave him fake email I use for scams, gave me a code I went to the official Samsung Australia page put in promo code and saved 15 off. Its a real Samsung.

    Asian female voice called at 7:15 am on a Sunday morning and left a voice mail saying she is returning a call from my phone but I have no recollection of ever calling them. I do however remember having problems with my phone about a week ago (freezing when trying to use aps) and the software on phone prompted me to send the error message to Samsung.

    Caller ID suggested Samsung, but they had no reason to contact me. They hung up after only a few rings, and did not leave a voice message. I'm located in Melbourne, Australia. The ID number appeared to be Sydney in origin.

    Voicemail left saying something about Samsung and going to a website but couldn't understand any of the other words, or make out what the website was, even after listening several times.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
