    The company blurb says they get to call silent and do not disturb calls, however you can tell them not to call your number... WTF?? What do you think having a silent number or being on a Do Not Disturb list means?

    Number came up after 8pm. I don’t know anyone from 02 phone area so ignored it. I’m not answering any numbers I don’t know because it’s usually a scammer or survey that I don’t want to deal with.

    I hung up. Thanks slysnake96 - who listed numbers from these guys, now blocked on my phone! Although it sounds like slysnake96 works for them! There should be 'do not call' register for research companies. I hang up on them every time, it would also be in their interest not to call and waste time on people like myself that will never participate.

    Just had a call from this number - and shortly after answering was transferred to what appears to be a different number. Heard a commotion in the background and they cut the call - definitely a group of scamming and harassing people. It is a Sydney landline number for sure.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
