Got a call from this number from an officer Michelle jones stating she was from the commonwealth director of public procecussion australian tax office telling me I have been audited for tax evasion and I owe $5000 and the call was being recorded and that if I hung up from the call they would start legal proceedings against me. She also asked if I was on Centrelink and she wanted me to pay it to an online bank transfer account.
I called ATO and this is a SCAM.
Continually receive calls from thisnumber. Abusive threatening Indian male caller. ATO notified.
I also received a phone call, just 3 minutes ago...2.27pm 10/05/16... claiming to be the Tax Office, re a final notice. I tried to talk to them, but it was a recording. I simply hung up, and contacted this web site.

Caller from this number 0282798661 left a message at 7.30pm tonight claiming to be Tax dept. Message caller stated that a lawsuit has been filed for tax fraud & evasion. Was told to call back this number to resolve issue. Clearly a spam call.
