Yes it's a scam - I haven't been in any accidents ever! I find it best when an unknown number rings me on my mobile, to let it ring out into my voice mail. If it's legitimate they can leave a message for me - however, being a scam, they won't ever do this. As soon as they've disconnected I can then read the number in the call log area on my mobile and block it.

He said I had been in a no fault motor vehicle accident in the last 12 months. I said I hadn't but my husband may have reported it and I would need to check. I did mention that we had a tree fall on both of our cars and that we had notified our insurer of that - I mentioned our insurers name. He said that if it wasn't a motor vehicle accident it shouldn't have gone through to him. I asked him again for the name of his business and he hung up on me. I hope I haven't given him enough info to do any harm!
